The top 5 lessons I've learned from the video: When doing an interview with someone, get b-roll of them or a person doing the task. When filming have headphones because if not you never know what the video could sound like till you get back. To make professionally looking stories and packages you need a camera, tripod, microphone, headphones, and media. There are 3 different kinds of shots in the world of journalism, wide, medium and tight shots. Wides shots give an overall feeling of the setting and surrounding. medium shots give a little less setting and a little more detail. Tight shots give really nice detail, that you can't get form a medium or wide shot. Sequences are editing wide medium and tight shots together. The rule of thirds helps make your videos more appealing. In the rule of thirds, put your character on the crosshairs, but not in the middle.

Last week we Visit the studio and we learned how to work each of the equipment. My all time favorite was working as the director and Floor director. Working as the director all I had to do was be in charge and make sure everything was in order. For example, I would read out instruction for the AJA to turn on and for the sound board to turn the music, I did voice checks for the anchors and many other things. I also liked doing Floor director because It was similar to doing director. My least favorite was probably anchor because it can be intimidating. There is a lot of pressure on the anchors to pronounce the words right and just look normal and not all up tight. This video was fun because I got to look back at some memories. What I learned while doing this project was how to work iMovie on the computer. The only challenges I faced was trying figure out which template and music I wanted to use. I ended up choosing something that was happy and joyful. If I could do something different I would just have more content and more pictures.
